Our Sticky Chai: Cafe Quality at Home

The Handmade Chai Experience

Our Sticky Chai is crafted by our team, from scratch, using organic teas, organic spices, and local unprocessed honey. We crush the spices right before infusing them in honey to preserve the flavours potency and freshness. By making it in small batches, we maintain control over the quality of our product, ensuring every jar delivers the rich, comforting experience we aim for.

Sticky Chai Kit Components

This kit has been assembled to make brewing and enjoying your chai simple and rewarding:

  1. Sticky Chai Jar: Our handmade blend of tea, spices, and local honey.
  2. Spiced Chocolate: Perfect for sprinkling! This chocolate has some of the same spices found in the chai, making it the ideal complement. It can also be used to make delicious drinking chocolates—just add a teaspoon to milk or water.
  3. Sturdy Conical Colander: A practical tool designed to easily strain the chai once brewed, ensuring a clean and smooth pour.
  4. Chocolate Shaker: An easy tool for evenly applying the Spiced Chocolate to your finished latte.

Simple Brewing Instructions

Adjust the dose and steep time to match your desired strength.

  • Step 1 (Steep): In a milk jug (or similar), add a heaped teaspoon of Sticky Chai and pour a small amount of near-boiling water over it. Let it sit for 3–5 minutes.
  • Step 2 (The Latte Finish):

If using a Coffee Machine: Add cold milk to the jug and steam as usual, then strain into the cup.

Without a Machine: You can add hot milk and strain, or add cold milk and heat up together on the stove or microwave, then strain.

Tips for Stronger Flavour:

  • Next time, try a heaped tablespoon instead of a teaspoon.
  • Let the chai steep for longer than 5 minutes.
  • You can steam the chai and water for a few seconds before adding the milk to extract even more flavour.
