Hive & Herb Tea Blend: Tablelands Honey & Organic Herbs

Hive & Herb is more than just an herbal tea; it's a sensory delight inspired by the deep dedication to flavour and quality we put into our renowned Sticky Chai. We created this blend to transcend the ordinary, offering a product that is both uniquely versatile and deeply nourishing. Blending bright organic herbs like lemongrass, ginger, thyme, and lemon peel directly with pristine local honey sourced from the Tablelands, near Cairns in Far North Queensland, allows us to craft a blend that is naturally sweet and intensely aromatic. It’s perfect for soothing a sore throat or boosting your spirits, but its primary purpose is simply to offer a truly exceptional, easy-to-love beverage.

How to Brew Hive & Herb (Hot, Iced & Latte)

This blend adapts beautifully to your every mood and season. Please use a heaped spoon for all methods.

Brewing MethodInstructionsHot TeaAdd a heaped spoon to your teapot, top with hot water (around $95^\circ\text{C}$). Steep for 5 minutes, then pour and enjoy.Iced Tea (Quick)Prepare the tea as a hot infusion, then immediately pour it over a glass filled with ice to chill quickly.Iced Tea (Steep)In a jug, add a heaped spoon and just enough hot water to cover it. Steep for 10 minutes or longer for taste. Top up with cold water, strain, and serve.LatteAdd a heaped spoon to a milk jug with just enough water to cover it. Steep for 3 minutes, then steam briefly to release flavour. Top up with milk and steam as usual. Strain into a cup for a creamy, aromatic latte.

Note on Cold Brewing: We don’t recommend direct cold brewing as the honey won’t dissolve properly. To cold brew, first dissolve the honey with a splash of warm water, mix in cold water, add the tea, and refrigerate for 24 hours.
