Both specialty, high altitude coffee beans with characteristics that we love. Creamy, sweet, with notes of malt, dark chocolate and cashews.

This blend is low in acidity, high in sweetness, with a full-medium body and roasted for Espresso.

Recommended recipes:

Espresso: 22gms, yield 40-45ml of espresso, time 22-25 seconds for a small coffee. yield 55ml in 28 seconds for a mug.

French Press: 20gms and allow to brew for 5 minutes.

About the origins:

India Kelagur Heights Estate comes from a farm located in the first range of the Western Ghats in the Chikmagular District of Karnataka State. The coffee grows under a mixed canopy of shade with trees sucj as ficus, albizzia, cedrela toona and javanica. Fourteen perennial springs on the Estate ensure that the washed processing is of the highest quality. The emphasis for Kelagur Heights Estate has always been on sustainability. Peru comes the Chanchamayo growing region in northeastern Peru. The  farms are small (chacras), from 2 to 4 hectares. Most farms have Inga and other shaded native forest trees. The cooperative brings together coffee producers from 18 villages. All members of the cooperative believe that it is vital to care for and support the natural cycle of the earth to have a balanced ecosystem. The cooperative is certified as an organic and Fair Trade coffee producer. The coffee we have in this blend is low in acidity, sweet and creamy, making it very pleasant and warming.
