Keeping the coffee fresh

We recommend to put a small amount of coffee in an air-tight container for daily use, and the rest in a dark and cool place inside your pantry. If you have an airtight bucket, like the ones we used to sell, you can place the bag inside the bucket and store it in a cool, dark place. High temperatures, humidity and light affect the quality and freshness of the coffee. Using a smaller air-tight container will allow you to store the rest of your coffee appropriately. If you open the 3kg bag each time you want to make coffee, the oxygen exchange will make the coffee go stale faster. When coffee goes stale, the aroma and flavour are affected, as well as the crema.

Best Before

We recommend using the coffee within 3 months. Coffee doesn't have a use-by date, but it looses vibrancy and the flavour evolves as it ages.
