We say we have something for almost anyone. Five blends might not look like much when you compare it with all those crazy flavoured coffees our there. We say we have something for almost anyone because our coffees are so well balanced and roasted, that nearly everyone likes them.
Even though it is a small number, people come in, look at the options and don’t know what to do. So they ask, and pretty much every time, we say the same thing: “start with our House Blend”. That is where we started, and it has taken us a very long way. Once you’ve tried our House Blend, don’t stay there, try something new, you won’t be disappointed. That’s what we did, and we got even further.
Following, I will describe each of our blends. I would try them in that exact order, and once you’ve tried them all, you will know which to stick with.
House Blend – Espresso, medium roast
Perfectly balanced with layers of dark fruit, chocolate and nut flavours. Medium sweetness and acidity, full and heavy body. Origins: Guatemala, Brazil, PNG, Kenya, Ethiopia.
Organic – Espresso, medium roast
Vibrant, juicy cup with cocoa and toffee notes, stone fruit acidity and a sweet lingering finish. Medium-high sweetness and acidity, full body. Origins: Mexico, PNG, Ethiopia.
Flight Mode – Espresso, medium roast
Blueberry tones with notes of sugar cane, biscuit and toffee and a silky dark chocolate finish. Medium acidity and sweetness, full body. Origins: Kenya, PNG.
Frank’s Blend – 25% Dark roast
Silky, rounded, lively and clean with a hint of sweet roast flavour in the end. Medium acidity and sweetness. Full body. 25% dark roast. Origins: Guatemala, Brazil, PNG, Kenya, Ethiopia, Mexico, Sumatra.
Face Kicker – Dark roast
A dark and stormy version of our House Blend. Very intense in aroma and roast flavour, syrupy full body and a strong kick in the end. Medium acidity and sweetness. Full body. Origins: Guatemala, Brazil, PNG, Kenya, Ethiopia.
